What is Invisalign?
Invisalign® is a modern orthodontic treatment that uses a series of clear, custom-made aligners to gently move your teeth into place over time.
Each aligner is crafted specifically for your smile using advanced digital planning and is precisely designed to guide your teeth through each stage of treatment. You’ll wear each set of aligners for about one week, gradually progressing as your smile shifts into its ideal position.
For the best results, aligners are worn 22–23 hours per day and are only removed for eating, drinking, brushing, and flossing.

A palatal expander is an orthodontic appliance used to gently widen the upper jaw when it is too narrow in relation to the lower jaw. This helps create proper space for teeth to grow and improves how the upper and lower teeth fit together.
When the upper jaw is too narrow, it can lead to issues such as a crossbite, where the lower teeth sit outside the upper teeth. By gradually widening the upper jaw, an expander helps correct this imbalance and allows for better overall alignment.
In many cases, this additional space can also help reduce dental crowding and support healthier, more balanced smile development.
Palatal expanders are most often recommended for children whose jaws are still developing, allowing us to guide growth at the most effective and natural stage.

How does Invisalign® work?
Invisalign® treatment is the process of wearing a series of clear, removable aligners that gradually straighten your teeth. No brackets and wires, and none of the restrictions that come with metal braces. Invisalign® clear aligners are made of flexible plastic specifically, a patented thermoplastic material called SmartTrack® created exclusively for Invisalign® treatment. Invisalign® clear aligners are FDA-approved and contain no BPA, BPS, latex, or gluten. They are thin, clear, and fit snugly over your teeth, making them virtually invisible.
How to clean Invisalign®
You can brush them using a toothbrush with soap and lukewarm water. Never use hot water on your aligners, it could permanently warp the plastic. Invisalign® Cleaning Crystals are also available, for cleaning your aligners. The best time to clean your aligners is when you take them out to brush your teeth.
