This appointment typically lasts about one hour and is designed to get you fully set up for treatment.

Not every patient begins treatment at their first appointment, and that's perfectly okay.
If orthodontic treatment is recommended, we'll review your options together and help you decide when the time is right to begin. Some patients are ready to start treatment right away, while others (especially younger children) may benefit from simply monitoring growth until the ideal time to begin. Either way, you'll leave your consultation with a personalized treatment plan and a clear understanding of the next steps for your smile.

1. What age should my child be seen by an orthodontist?
Children should visit the orthodontist by age 7, but no age is too early if concerns are noticed.
